I know you're thinking about it! Unfortunately, I will not be attending the festival this year. I've attended so many that I need a break. However, if you're anything like me, then I know you're filling up your online shopping carts with tanks, shorts, skirts, dresses, and hopefully, SUNSCREEN. I might also add - hand sanitizer. Because let me tell you, it's hot and NASTY out there. I strongly encourage you to repurpose fashions from previous years, but if you're not quite there yet because your IG is evidence that you wore the same thing two years ago, then try and make conscious choices! I also encourage you to put your phone down and enjoy the experience! This eliminates annoying posts of the same thing from everyone on Snapchat and you'll be able to wear the same thing next year. But if you must, start your shopping now because it's better to be safe than sorry! You want to make sure your online purchases fit juuuuuust right. Here are my top choices for Greenchella '16!

Another quick tip for some inexpensive, easy, and sustainable shorts: head to your local Goodwill or Salvation Army, possibly even Wasteland, buy some previously loved jeans, and cut them into shorts! Easy peasy lemon squeezy! I'm sure you'll also be able to find a really cool belt while you're there. The last few years I went to the Goodwill closest to the festival and just bought some last minute belts. I spent no more than $4.00 and they looked like ones I could have easily bought for 100 bucks on Nasty Gal. Grandmas in Palm Springs have good taste and love to donate–mine being one of them!
